Iron and Cobalt Mug

This mug was wheel-thrown and wood-fired to 2300 degrees. The unglazed lower portion of this mug and tenmoku interior provide an earthy contrast to the variegated cobalt glaze running down from the top of mug. The modest weight and comfortable handle make this a good choice for your daily coffee.
