Oblong Platter – Ceramic Serving Platter Handmade

I made this platter out of a slab draped over a homemade mold and then added foot on the wheel. It was fired upside down to 2300 degrees in my wood kiln. I combed through the flashing slip when wet to create a textured decoration. The firing left scars around sea shells that this platter was stacked on.
