The sturdy bowl was wheel thrown and decorated with a blue porcelain slip that I combed through as it dried. Fired to 2300 degrees in my wood kiln, the blue slip turned glossy and almost black where hit by flame and stayed soft and blue where it was shielded. Use this dynamic bowl for soup, salad, or ice cream.
