This wheel thrown and wood-fired mug features a shiny brown salt glaze exterior formed by the interaction of the kiln atmosphere and the iron rich clay body. The glossy white glaze interior is tinged slightly green from wood ash and provides a bright contrast to the dark exterior. Decorated with small glaze trailed dots reminiscent of keyholes, this mug would be excellent choice for coffee or tea.
