Every piece from our studio is fired in a wood kiln, which creates one-of-a-kind marks from the flames and ash. The kiln itself has a story as the design is derived from John James's twin bourry box kiln in Warwick Australia, and it's built with bricks salvaged from A.R. Cole's historic kiln in Sanford, NC.
We make all of our clay from dry ingredients. This is a time intensive process but allows us to get the perfect combination of ingredients that give us the highest quality and unique pottery.
Our pieces are made to be used and loved and are dishwasher and microwave safe. For large or delicate pieces we recommend handwashing. With proper care, your pottery will become more beautiful with time!
